A fake video is being distributed on TikTok in which a man in military uniform poses as a Ukrainian serviceman and claims to have suffered “massive non-combat casualties” in the unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the Central Intelligence Agency, the video is artificially generated and is part of Russia’s information and psychological operations against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Experts have identified characteristic signs of the use of artificial intelligence: unnatural facial expressions, unclear articulation, lip movements out of sync with sound, and specific “digital” voice intonations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Central Military Commission emphasizes that such materials are intended to demoralize the Ukrainian military and create a false impression of alleged massive problems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular in border areas.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Center also notes that Russian propaganda systematically uses the topic of “disease in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” as one of the tools of information pressure.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Similar fakes have been recorded many times before – the enemy regularly spreads fictional “testimonies of military personnel” created using artificial intelligence technologies on social networks.<\/p>\n

It has previously been reported that Russia is using deception and manipulation to recruit residents of temporarily occupied Crimea into its army.<\/a> People are promised safe service close to home, but in reality, things are different.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that Russian propaganda is once again spreading disinformation about the alleged existence of so-called “death factories” in Ukraine for holding prisoners of war.<\/a> <\/p>\n
