The case materials have now been opened for review by the defense.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/nabu.gov.ua\/news\/koruptciia-pry-zakupivli-bpla-ta-zasobiv-reb-slidstvo-zaversheno\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported<\/a> by NABU and SAPO.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, in 2025, an organized group operated, which, according to law enforcement officers, systematically embezzled budget funds allocated for the needs of the defense forces.<\/p>\n<p> Among the defendants in the case are the former head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, a People&#8217;s Deputy of Ukraine, the head of the city military administration, the commander of a National Guard unit, as well as representatives and owners of a UAV manufacturing company.<\/p>\n<p> The investigation describes several episodes. In particular, it concerns the purchase of FPV drones and electronic warfare systems at inflated prices, where the contract amounts reached millions of hryvnias, and part of the funds, according to the investigation, could be returned in the form of &#8220;kickbacks&#8221; &#8211; up to 30% of the contract value.<\/p>\n<p> Law enforcement officers also identified episodes of fictitious employment of military conscripts for money, as well as illegal enrichment of one of the defendants by over UAH 62 million and unreliable data in declarations.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The investigation is complete, the materials are open for review by the defense,&#8221; the NABU concluded.<\/p>\n<p> The case must then be taken to court.<\/p>\n<p> Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NABU and SAPO have completed an investigation into a large-scale case of alleged corruption in the procurement of drones and electronic warfare equipment for defense needs.
