On April 16 and the night of April 17, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of Russian military facilities and occupied territories, in particular, hitting the Nebo-M and Podlyot radar stations. Damage was also recorded at enemy command posts, warehouses, and logistical facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the General Staff, units of the Defense Forces struck a command and observation post near the settlement of Dovhe in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, as well as drone control points in the areas of Tyotkino, Kursk region of Russia, and Uspenivka and Zelenye, Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Separately, there are reports of the destruction of the weapons repair and maintenance base in Klinkino in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, the logistics hub in Mangush, and the storage warehouse for landing and assault boats in Chornomorske in occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n

Strikes were also carried out on enemy ammunition depots in the areas of Skadovsk, Kherson region, Panteleimonivka, Donetsk region, and Dovzhansk, Luhansk region, as well as on depots of material and technical equipment and fuels and lubricants in the areas of Sabivka and Rovenki, Luhansk region.<\/p>\n

The General Staff clarified the results of previous strikes. In particular, on April 9, 2026, the destruction of a drone laboratory in the Orlynske district of Donetsk region was confirmed.<\/p>\n

In addition, on April 16, 2026, the destruction of the Nebo-M radar station in the area of the settlement of Chernovets, Belgorod Region, Russia, was confirmed, and on April 15, 2026, the destruction of the Podlyot radar station in the Novomaryevka area, Rostov Region, Russia.<\/p>\n

“Enemy losses and the extent of damage caused are being clarified,” the General Staff reported.<\/p>\n

The department added that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue measures aimed at countering Russia’s armed aggression.<\/p>\n

For reference:<\/strong> the Nebo-M<\/strong> radar station is a mobile multifunctional system designed to detect aerodynamic and ballistic targets at a significant range. The Podliet<\/strong> radar station is used to detect low-flying targets, including cruise missiles and drones, and provides target designation for air defense systems.<\/p>\n

By the way, as of the morning of April 17, Russia had lost about 1,316,070 soldiers<\/a> since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,000 people.<\/p>\n

Earlier, units of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of pinpoint strikes on military targets of Russian forces<\/a> – a total of 16 objects were hit. Among them were missile complex positions, air defense systems, and even an oil refinery on Russian territory.<\/p>\n

The day before, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Magyar” Brody, confirmed a strike on a military-industrial complex behind enemy lines.<\/a><\/p>\n
