Local residents say that oily particles were falling from the sky in the city on the morning after the second strike on the Tuapse Oil Refinery.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses say that the surfaces were covered with a film and black balls, which were initially mistaken for dust, but later realized that they were the remains of burnt oil.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the regional operations headquarters acknowledged the appearance of an oil slick after the first strike on the refinery. Its area reaches about 10,000 square kilometers.<\/p>\n

To eliminate the consequences, boom barriers were installed in the sea, and boats and special vessels were brought in to collect oil products. Work is also ongoing at the mouth of the Tuapse River.<\/p>\n
