In temporarily occupied Tokmak, Russian occupation “courts” sentenced two local residents, accusing them of alleged “treason” for transferring funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through Ukrainian banking applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, citing data from the Kharkiv Human Rights Group.<\/p>\n

The occupiers sentenced 54-year-old Viktoriya Tkachenko to 12 years in a general regime colony with a further one-year restriction of freedom. According to the occupation investigation, she allegedly had a negative attitude towards the actions of the Russian authorities and in May 2024 transferred 1,000 hryvnias to a Ukrainian serviceman.<\/p>\n

Another woman, 49-year-old Olena Maksymenko, who has the third disability group, received 13 years in prison. She is accused of allegedly transferring funds to the Ukrainian military through a bank mobile application from December 2023 to July 2025 \u2014 a total of about 13,000 hryvnias. She is also accused of posting on Telegram channels calling for support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Both cases were classified by the occupation authorities as “high treason.” The women were sent to a general regime colony with further restrictions on their freedom after serving their main sentence.<\/p>\n

We will remind, earlier , Olga Chernyavska, a resident of temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhia region, was sentenced to 13 years in prison on charges of “espionage”.<\/a><\/p>\n
