In Kyiv, police officers detained a 37-year-old man who was walking around a residential complex with an automatic weapon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> to the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred the previous evening, at around 11:10 p.m., in the Dnipro district of the capital. The police received a report of an armed man on Kakhovska Street. <\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers located the apartment where the offender entered and detained him. The man turned out to be a 37-year-old local resident who rented an apartment in this residential complex. According to police, he was intoxicated. <\/p>\n

During a search of the apartment, police seized a Colt M-4 carbine, a hunting rifle, and about 200 rounds of ammunition. Substances that may be narcotics were also found and sent for examination. <\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers are currently investigating all the circumstances of the incident and the origin of the weapons and prohibited substances.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, in Kyiv, after an internal investigation, the leadership of the patrol police was dismissed<\/a> – the personnel decisions affected the entire vertical.<\/p>\n
