On April 21, Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court<\/span><\/span> will decide on a preventive measure for a patrol police officer suspected of negligence during the April 18 terrorist attack in the capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The law enforcement officer is charged under Part 3 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine\u2014official negligence resulting in grave consequences. According to investigators, he may have abandoned the people during the attack.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the death toll from the terrorist attack in Kyiv<\/span><\/span> ‘s Holosiivskyi district has risen to seven. A man, who was in critical condition, died in the hospital.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the attacker who opened fire on civilians and took hostages in Kyiv had been eliminated<\/a> . According to him, six people were killed in the incident, and nine more were hospitalized with injuries.<\/p>\n

As reported, an unknown gunman opened fire on people in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district<\/a> . Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko subsequently reported that a child was injured in the shooting and is currently hospitalized.<\/a><\/p>\n
