The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on two patrol officers suspected of negligence during the terrorist attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The court has remanded patrol officers Mykhailo Drobnytskyi and Anna Dudina in custody for 60 days. They are suspected of official negligence, which led to serious consequences.<\/p>\n

This concerns the events of April 18 in Kyiv, when, according to the investigation, law enforcement officers left the scene of the terrorist attack. A video has been circulated online in which they are likely seen leaving during the shooting, leaving a child under fire.<\/p>\n

Both suspects pleaded not guilty in court.<\/p>\n

Drobnytskyi said he retreated due to targeted fire and sought cover, then tried to identify the attacker. He added that he regretted the situation.<\/p>\n

Dudina claims that she did not see the shooter and did not understand where the shots were coming from. According to her, she moved away to find cover and tried to find out the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n

The court determined the possibility of posting bail for both suspects in the amount of 266 thousand hryvnias.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that an unknown person opened fire on people in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv<\/a> . Subsequently, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that a child was injured as a result of the shooting in the capital, and is currently hospitalized.<\/a><\/p>\n
