On the night of Wednesday, April 22, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive strike on several regions of Ukraine with drones and other types of weapons. The Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Sumy regions were hit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drones attacked port infrastructure in the Odessa region, as reported by the head of the Odessa Regional Administration, Oleh Kiper.<\/p>\n

“At night, the enemy again massively attacked the Odessa region with strike drones. The port infrastructure was hit,” he noted.<\/p>\n

Despite the work of air defense, damage was recorded to port facilities. The strikes caused fires, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia, a Russian drone hit railway infrastructure. According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, the sorting yard at the Zaporizhzhia-Live station was hit.<\/p>\n

“At the time of the impact, a train with an electric locomotive was on the track. The assistant driver was mortally injured. The man died,” he said.<\/p>\n

The train driver was hospitalized. Railway infrastructure was also damaged. <\/p>\n

Dozens of settlements in Sumy region were under shelling over the past 24 hours. According to police, a total of 33 people were injured. <\/p>\n

In the Sumy community, 30 people were injured, including 16 children, as a result of drone strikes. Residential buildings, non-residential structures, and cars were damaged. <\/p>\n

Several more people were injured in other communities in the region. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the shelling and recording the destruction. <\/p>\n
