Russian propaganda is spreading a video with unsubstantiated accusations of Ukrainian military personnel allegedly stealing exhibits from the Mariupol Museum in 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation<\/span><\/span> . <\/p>\n

In the video, the so-called “custodian” of the museum claims that no remains of the exhibits remained after the fire and suggests that they could have been stolen by the Ukrainian military.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the author of these statements himself admits that he does not have any evidence or testimony confirming the involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The CPC emphasizes that it was the Russian occupation forces who systematically engaged in looting and removing cultural values from the temporarily occupied territories.<\/p>\n

The Russian Federation uses such informational attacks to shift responsibility for the destruction of Mariupol and the theft of property onto the Ukrainian side.<\/p>\n
