There were 159 combat clashes on the frontline in the past 24 hours. Russian occupation forces actively pressed forward in several directions at once, used aviation, thousands of drones, and massively shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on April 23.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 73 air strikes, dropped 234 guided bombs, deployed 9,096 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,231 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops, including 52 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Chernatske, Vilna Sloboda in Sumy region; Ivanivka, Kopani, Lisne in Dnipropetrovsk region; Andriivka-Klevtsove in Donetsk region; Verkhnia Tersa, Lyubitske, Shyroke, Hulyaipole, Staroukrainka, Tymoshivka, Tsvitkove, Dolynka, Komyshuvakha, Novorozivka, Yasna Polyana, Yurkivka, Orikhiv in Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck six areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, three command posts, and one enemy gun.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day, the enemy carried out four air strikes, using 12 guided bombs, and carried out 121 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, five of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the area of the settlement of Lyman and in the direction of the settlements of Bochkovo and Okhrimivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, the aggressor attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses five times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Novosergiyevka, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped two attempts by the occupiers to advance in the Yampol area.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, the invaders attacked twice in the Nikiforivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyny, Ivano-Pol’, Illinivka, and towards Novodmytrivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 36 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Toretske, Rodynske, Filiya, Shevchenko, Myrnograd, Hryshyne, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne and towards Kucherovy Yar.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, according to updated information, the enemy attacked eight times in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve, Ternove, Oleksandrograd, Vorone, and Kalynivske.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, there were 16 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Hirke, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Staroukrainka, and Tsvitkove.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy was advancing towards the settlement of Novoandreyevka.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy conducted four assault operations towards the Antonivskyi Bridge, near the islands of Bilogruy and Kruhlyk.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
