On the night of Thursday, April 23, explosions and fires broke out at industrial facilities in several regions of Russia. These include the Gorky oil pumping station in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, and the oil refinery in Novokuybyshevsk, Samara region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n

A fire broke out at one of the tanks at the Kstovo oil station after a drone attack. According to Russian Telegram channels, the station is part of an oil pumping system that operates towards other hubs and refineries.<\/p>\n

Strikes on industrial enterprises were also recorded in Novokuibyshevsk. Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed the attack and announced the casualties.<\/p>\n

“According to preliminary data, there are casualties in Novokuybyshevsk as a result of the attack on industrial enterprises. One person died,” he said.<\/p>\n

He also added that debris from one of the drones damaged the roof of an apartment building in Samara.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Center for Countering Disinformation stated that strikes were carried out on the Samara oil refinery and the Gorky oil pumping station in the Nizhny Novgorod region. <\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, April 22, the Russian city of Syzran in the Samara region was attacked by drones.<\/a> Explosions were heard in the city, and damage to residential infrastructure was also recorded.<\/p>\n
