In Bukovina, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of attempting to murder servicemen of the Ukrainian Central Committee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on April 20 near the village of Strumok, Dniester district. While the man was being transported to the mobilization center, a conflict arose between him and two servicemen.<\/p>\n

“During the argument, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed both victims in the neck several times,” the report said.<\/p>\n

After that, the man damaged the company car and continued to resist. <\/p>\n

“The suspect also hit one of the servicemen in the forearm with a wrench,” the prosecutor’s office said. <\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers detained a 29-year-old local resident. He has already been reported as suspected under articles of attempted murder and hooliganism. <\/p>\n

The two soldiers were provided with timely medical assistance – their lives are currently out of danger.<\/p>\n

“The suspect has been taken into custody,” the department added.<\/p>\n

A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
