The other day, at the Kyiv Security Forum, Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Budanov stated that Ukraine has experience integrating artificial intelligence into the operation of drones and that this will soon become a “surprise” for the enemy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Budanov, in military terms, we are at a stage where the quantitative increase in drones no longer fundamentally solves the problem. The enemy, and we have reached a certain maximum in the use of existing control technologies.<\/p>\n

The next stage is the full integration of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

“We need a transition to autonomous systems that are capable of independently identifying targets and maneuvering. Ukraine already has such developments, and I am convinced that they will very soon become a surprise for the enemy,” he noted.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have now significantly strengthened their capabilities to strike at the logistics of the Russian occupation forces. Ukrainian defenders are emphasizing long-range and systematic strikes.<\/p>\n

The other day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck ammunition and fuel depots, drone storage bases, and transport hubs of the occupiers in three regions.<\/p>\n

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 23, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a missile and artillery weapons depot and a warehouse of material and technical resources in the Sartana area in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian military also struck a train carrying fuel and lubricants in the Voznesenivka area in the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Defense Forces struck an enemy UAV control point in the Strelechaya area of the Kharkiv region.<\/p>\n

In Feodosia, drones attacked an oil depot, and explosions were heard in other regions of occupied Crimea. In particular, a P-18 radar station was destroyed in the Yevpatoria area.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian drones, without influence from the Russian air defense system, are operating in “free hunting” mode over occupied Donetsk. In addition, there are reports of the destruction of a fuel and lubricants warehouse in occupied Luhansk and a strike on the enemy’s permanent deployment points in Dovzhansk. As we can see, the possibilities of hitting personnel already in the operational rear have increased manifold.<\/p>\n

I would like to note that the Ukrainian military is better specialized in drone control than the Russian soldiers.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the occupiers themselves recognize not the tactical but the strategic initiative of the Ukrainian troops at the moment of using FPV drones, drop drones, and repeater drones, which allows them to increase the range of target destruction many times over. The occupiers themselves also recognize that at this moment the Ukrainian side can significantly influence logistics from a distance of 60 to 100 kilometers from the line of contact, effectively nullifying the possibility of redeploying personnel.<\/p>\n

In addition, according to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, M. Fedorov, Ukraine is introducing a new level of “small” air defense: interceptor drones can now be controlled from thousands of kilometers away, and more than 10 manufacturers have already integrated this solution into their systems.<\/p>\n

It is noted that Ukraine is the first in the world to systematically scale up remote control of interceptor drones, an example of the implementation of defense innovations and the formation of a new standard in air defense.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the occupation army’s losses have increased sharply in recent months due to Ukrainian drones. Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers have lost another 1,100 servicemen in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

We have seen the destruction of columns of enemy manpower in the temporarily occupied Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Therefore, in my opinion, we should not expect a decrease in the number of casualties of the occupiers due to the “green light.” On the contrary, we are talking about the possibility of increasing casualties by increasing the capabilities of Ukrainian UAV operators.<\/p>\n

By the way, on the night of Thursday, April 23, explosions and fires broke out at industrial facilities in several regions of Russia<\/a> . These include, in particular, the Gorky oil pumping station in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, and the oil refinery in Novokuybyshevsk, Samara region.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, April 22, the Russian city of Syzran in the Samara region was attacked by drones.<\/a> Explosions were heard in the city, and damage to residential infrastructure was also recorded.<\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of April 22, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian facilities, in particular the Black Sea Fleet ship traffic control point “Streletsky” in Sevastopol.<\/a><\/p>\n
