On the night of Sunday, March 26, temporarily occupied Crimea came under attack from drones. Explosions were heard in Sevastopol<\/span><\/span> , Balaklava<\/span><\/span> , and several other areas of the peninsula.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the Atesh<\/span><\/span> partisan movement and the Crimean service of Radio Liberty<\/span><\/span> .<\/p>\n

According to the movement’s agents, the active phase of the attack lasted from 9:00 PM to 1:30 AM. After that, the strikes continued in waves in different directions and concluded around 5:30 AM. During this time, intense air defense activity was recorded.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The first explosions occurred near the Kacha<\/span><\/span> and Belbek<\/span><\/span> military airfields. Air defense missile launches were observed beforehand, followed by powerful detonations. Explosions were also recorded near the village of Saki.<\/p>\n

There was also a loud noise in Balaklava, where air defense systems were operating near a thermal power plant. After several missile launches, the systems reportedly switched to cannon fire.<\/p>\n

Explosions also engulfed Sevastopol and its surrounding areas, including Fiolent, Sapun Mountain, the city center, and the Bakhchisaray district. Commuter train service on the Sevastopol-Inkerman-1 section was temporarily suspended due to damage to the overhead wire caused by the drone crash. Restoration work is currently ongoing.<\/p>\n
