Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that Ukraine is critically important for European security. According to him, it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are the main force capable of deterring Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stubb emphasized that Ukraine currently has a powerful army of 800,000 soldiers capable of waging a modern war. He emphasized that this factor is a key guarantee of security for the country.<\/p>\n

“This is a strong armed force and the ability to wage modern warfare, unlike any other NATO member country,” the Finnish president said.<\/p>\n

According to him, the situation has changed in such a way that Europe depends on Ukraine more than vice versa.<\/p>\n

“We Europeans need to understand that we need Ukraine more than it needs us. They know how to do it,” Stubb noted.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that statistics indicate significant losses of the occupiers at the front.<\/p>\n

“Over the past four months, Ukraine has killed or wounded between 30,000 and 35,000 Russian soldiers every month,” the Finnish leader added.<\/p>\n

He also noted that 95% of these losses were caused precisely by the use of drones.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he spoke about the prospects for a peace agreement with Russia. Stubb said that he does not see any changes in Vladimir Putin’s position and characterized the negotiation process as a drag.<\/p>\n

“I just don’t see Putin changing his mind. I was optimistic for a few months, but this turned out to be a classic Russian delaying tactic,” he added.<\/p>\n
