The weather in Ukraine in May 2026, according to preliminary estimates, will be within the climatic norm, despite rumors of a sharp cooling.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.<\/p>\n

Forecasters note that the information about a cold and rainy May is not true. At the same time, it is still too early to make final forecasts.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary calculations, the average monthly temperature will be 12-15\u00b0, which is approximately 1.5\u00b0 below normal.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Experts explain that this indicator takes into account both daytime and nighttime temperatures, so during the day the air will warm up much more than +15\u00b0.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As for precipitation, 35-76 mm is expected in May, and up to 88-138 mm in the western and mountainous regions. This corresponds to typical values for this period.<\/p>\n

Forecasters emphasize that May will not be abnormally cold, but it will not be the warmest either. <\/p>\n
