The body of a baby was found in a park area on Chornovola Avenue in Lviv. The child was found in a bag wrapped in a blanket.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Lviv region police.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A report about a suspicious bag was received by the 102 hotline on April 28 from a local resident.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The investigative and operational group of Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department, as well as employees of other services, immediately went to the scene.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered the body of an infant in a bag. The child was dressed and wrapped in a blanket.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The body has been sent for a forensic examination, which will determine the exact cause of death.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Police are currently conducting primary investigative actions, searching for witnesses and eyewitnesses, and identifying the child’s mother and people who may be involved in this crime.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The issue of opening criminal proceedings is also being addressed.<\/p>\n
