Volodymyr Bugrov was officially dismissed from the position of rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Student Parliament of the Kyiv National University with reference to the relevant decree of the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The reason for the dismissal was the expiration of the contract. Until the elections for a new head of the university are held, an acting rector will be appointed at KNU.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The day before, the Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the decision in the case of false declaration involving Bugrov. After that, he lost the opportunity to participate in the elections of the new rector.<\/p>\n

The vote for the new head of the university is scheduled for May 27. That is when the KNU staff is to elect a new rector. <\/p>\n
