On the night of Thursday, April 30, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Odessa. Residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure in various areas of the city came under fire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by the head of the MVA, Serhiy Lysak.<\/p>\n

The Primorsky district suffered the most. <\/p>\n

“A high-rise building and a five-story residential building were damaged: large-scale fires broke out on the upper floors and roof,” the head of the OVA reported. <\/p>\n

Rescuers managed to contain the fire. Private homes in the central part of the city were also damaged. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Social facilities were also hit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe kindergarten building was significantly damaged, and a shopping center, hotel, and administrative buildings were damaged,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

In addition, dozens of buses and cars were destroyed or damaged in several parking lots.<\/p>\n

In the Khadzhibey district, hits were recorded on infrastructure, warehouses, and garages.<\/p>\n

At least 16 people were injured in the attack, including a 17-year-old boy.<\/p>\n

“Two people are in intensive care in serious condition, doctors are fighting for their lives,” the official said.<\/p>\n

Another man was hospitalized, and the others were treated at the scene.<\/p>\n

Dozens of pieces of equipment and hundreds of rescuers were involved in the elimination of the consequences. Assistance headquarters were deployed in the city for residents of damaged buildings.<\/p>\n
