In the Rivne region, a man opened fire on a military alert group and a police officer. Two people were injured as a result of the shooting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident occurred on April 29 at around 5:00 p.m. in the village of Verba, Dubno District. The servicemen, together with a community police officer, approached a man riding a bicycle to check his documents. <\/p>\n

In response, he took out a machine gun and started shooting at them, after which he fled the scene. <\/p>\n

Police have already identified the attacker and are searching for him. A special police operation has been launched in the region. <\/p>\n

A criminal case has been opened under the article of attempted murder.<\/p>\n

According to police, the suspect is approximately 48 years old, of slim build, about 170 cm tall, has short gray hair. He was wearing camouflage clothing.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, in Bukovina, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of attempting to murder servicemen of the CCK.<\/a><\/p>\n
