No one was injured in the incident, and investigators have opened a criminal case under the article about hooliganism.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/UA.KyivPolice\/posts\/pfbid0ZU764vP12WQBWTECN2U1DpPJkJ5CbBJ1oiTnHjAquQCqi6J5GPQZEtMRNNFRCjy1l?locale=uk_UA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n<p> According to law enforcement officials, on the afternoon of May 1, the police received a report that an unknown man in a Volkswagen Caddy had fired several shots on Mriya Street.<\/p>\n<p> Operatives of the Svyatoshynskyi police department located the suspect and detained him in one of the villages of the Kyiv region. The detainee turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the Kyiv region.<\/p>\n<p> During a search of the car, law enforcement officers did not find any weapons.<\/p>\n<p> Investigators have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine &#8211; hooliganism. The sanction of the article provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p> Currently, law enforcement officers are continuing their investigation and establishing all the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that on Friday, May 1, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-kyievi-rozshukuiut-vodiia-iakyy-striliav-u-sviatoshynskomu-rayoni\/\">a shooting occurred in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv<\/a> . Law enforcement officers announced a special police operation to search for the shooter.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, on April 18, a man opened <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-kyievi-nevidomyy-vidkryv-strilianynu-ie-zahyblyy-ta-postrazhdali\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fire on passersby in the Holosiivskyi district<\/a> of Kyiv.
