During the government’s question hour, MPs raised the issue of the high-profile corruption scandal known as “Minditchgate” and the materials of the “Midas” case. However, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers did their best to avoid answering uncomfortable remarks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

MP Mykola Velychkovych from European Solidarity told<\/a> Pryamoy that representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers tried to avoid direct answers regarding their connections with those involved in the investigation and their alleged stay in the apartment at 9a Hrushevskoho Street.<\/p>\n

“We saw how they really didn’t want to answer or tried to talk about this case as little as possible,” the MP noted.<\/p>\n

According to him, new fragments of the criminal proceedings indicate discussions of political appointments and corruption schemes by persons who do not have official authority to do so, and the recordings include topics of money laundering and the supply of low-quality defense products.<\/p>\n

Velychkovych also noted that government officials, including Svyrydenko, deny knowing Mindich, although their names are mentioned in intercepted conversations. The MP stressed the need for active action by law enforcement agencies, since some of the participants in the negotiations still hold leading positions in the country.<\/p>\n
