Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced “specific activity” from Belarus on sections of the Ukrainian border. At the same time, the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that only minor provocations from the Belarusian side are currently possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote about this in Telegram<\/a> .<\/p>\n

In his video address, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is monitoring the situation on the border with Belarus and monitoring the development of events.<\/p>\n

“The day before yesterday, there was quite specific activity on the border of Ukraine and Belarus – from the Belarusian side. We are carefully recording everything, monitoring everything, and, if necessary, we will react,” the president said.<\/p>\n

Zelensky also emphasized that Ukraine is ready to defend its sovereignty and citizens.<\/p>\n

“This should be understood by everyone who is trying to involve them in any aggressive activity against Ukraine,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.<\/p>\n

The head of the Central Border Service, Andriy Kovalenko, also reacted<\/a> to the situation. According to him, the Ukrainian side is monitoring the actions of Belarus in the border areas.<\/p>\n

“Regarding Belarus, all their actions in the border area are being recorded, as of now, only minor provocations are possible from that side, which will cost the Belarusian side more. No more,” said Andriy Kovalenko.<\/p>\n

At the same time, monitoring Telegram channels reported the appearance of 2 Belarusian military helicopters near the Ukrainian border<\/strong> . According to their data, the aircraft were spotted approximately 2-3 kilometers from the border with Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.<\/p>\n

There is also speculation that the helicopters may have been involved in responding to Russian drones that had previously flown into Belarusian territory. However, there is currently no official confirmation of this information.<\/p>\n
