Over the past 24 hours, 149 combat clashes have taken place on the front. Russian occupation forces launched massive air attacks, used thousands of drones, and continued assaults in several directions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 5.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy launched a missile strike using one missile, carried out 75 air strikes, dropped 273 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,649 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,572 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 33 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Velyka Pysarivka, Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region; Tsvitkove, Lyubitske, Verkhnya Tersa, Vozdvizhivska in the Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck three command posts, seven personnel concentration areas, one air defense system, and four enemy artillery systems.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, five clashes took place over the past day, the enemy carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including five using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Starytsia, and Ambarne.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack near the settlement of Radkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Lyman, Yampil, and Ozerne.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, and Riznykovka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped three enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Malynivka, Nykyforivka, and Vyrolyubivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Toretsky, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 24 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, and Muravka.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve, Yehorivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Zlagoda, and Verbove.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 29 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Varvarivka, Dobropillya, Zaliznychne, Girke, Staroukrainka, Olenokostyantynivka, Yablukove, Svyatopetrivka, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Vozdvizhivska.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Shcherbaki.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units stopped three enemy attacks in the direction of Antonivka.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.<\/p>\n
