The Pension Fund explained how to apply.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s well known that pensions in Ukraine are low. While it&#8217;s possible to apply for a subsidy, this won&#8217;t completely solve the problem. However, the law does contain a list of categories of people who are exempt from paying utility bills altogether.<\/p>\n<p>The Pension Fund noted that assistance is available, including a 100% discount on utility bills, heating oil, and gas. This category includes pensioners who live in rural areas and continue to do so after retirement.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important that the beneficiary have at least three years of experience in a specific profession. They must also have held the specified position prior to retirement. These professions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>librarians and museum workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>teachers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>workers of cultural and cultural-educational institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>doctors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>pharmacists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>professionals involved in plant protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">But one more criterion must be met: over the past six months, the average monthly income per family member must not exceed the amount that qualifies for utility benefits (in 2026 \u2013 4,660 hryvnia).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/how-to-buy-insurance-experience-for-a-pension-explanations\/\">How to &#8220;buy&#8221; insurance experience for a pension: explanations<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p>If the pension is higher than this figure, assistance will be denied.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, to receive the service, you must have a certificate from your employer or village council confirming your eligibility for the benefit. The document must confirm that the person actually held the required position and has at least three years of service.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, it is necessary to prove the fact of residence in the village.<\/p>\n<p>With these documents, you should contact the Pension Fund, where you will receive the benefit within 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that this benefit does not apply to family members.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ru\/chto-yzmenytsia-dlia-ukrayntsev-s-1-maia-taryf-pensyy-y-oformlenye-ymushchestva\/\">Pryamoy&#8221; reported<\/a> that electricity tariffs would change in May. Some pensioners will receive age-related bonuses in May. These pensioners are those whose pensions do not exceed 10,340.35 hryvnias.
