Ukraine returned funds and valuables to Oschadbank that Hungarian special services seized in March of this year during the detention of Ukrainian collectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to him, the incident occurred in the spring, when the Hungarian side unlawfully detained Ukrainian collectors along with money and valuables.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

People were returned earlier<\/a>, and now the funds and valuables themselves have been returned to Ukrainian territory\u2014in full.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The president added that the Hungarian side took a constructive and civilized step.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Grateful to Hungary for the constructive and civilized step,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The head of state also thanked the Ukrainian team that worked to recover the funds and protect the state’s interests.<\/p>\n

We remind you that the Hungarian authorities are ready to transfer two confiscated cars from Oschadbank to Ukraine; however, they do not plan to return the funds and gold.<\/a><\/p>\n
