The court allowed former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky to return to military service, while keeping him under nightly house arrest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by lawyer Konstantin Globa.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, the court considered the issue of extending the preventive measure on May 7. The defense insisted on changing the conditions and asked to allow service under personal obligation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The court extended his nightly house arrest, but allowed Chervinsky to serve under a written order. If on leave, he must adhere to restrictions and stay home at night.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The lawyer noted that from now on, Chervinsky will be able to perform military duties, and his further participation in combat operations will depend on the decisions of the command.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, Chervinsky, together with other individuals, arbitrarily organized an operation to recruit a Russian pilot to hijack a plane. This, according to law enforcement officials, led to a leak of information about the Kanatove airfield, after which Russian troops launched a strike.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a result of the shelling, the commander of the military unit was killed, 17 servicemen were injured, two fighter jets were destroyed, and the airfield infrastructure suffered significant damage.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The investigation believes that the operation was carried out without the consent of the SBU and other state bodies. Chervinsky is accused of exceeding his official authority.<\/p>\n
