The program should help businesses find staff, and people with experience &#8211; return to the labor market.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> She wrote about this in <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/svyrydenkoy\/2369\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Telegram<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> According to the Prime Minister, the economy&#8217;s need for workers has already become one of the biggest challenges for Ukraine. The construction and defense industries are experiencing the most acute shortage of personnel.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;People are the foundation of our resilience and economic capacity. Each and every one of us is needed for the economy in times of war and the country&#8217;s recovery,&#8221; said Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> She announced that the government is launching a national adult internship program &#8220;Experience Matters&#8221; for people aged 50+.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;That is why the Government is forming a new employment policy, in which human capital is the country&#8217;s main resource, and its focus is not only on creating jobs, but also on removing barriers to work,&#8221; said Yulia Svyridenko.<\/p>\n<p> The program will be implemented jointly with the State Employment Center, business and public partners. Its goal is to combine the experience of people 50+ with the current needs of employers.<\/p>\n<p> The program provided participants with:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> free education;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> short interviews with employers;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> short-term internship;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> the possibility of further employment;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> psychologist consultations;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> assistance in identifying professional skills.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> For employers, the program provides the opportunity to receive candidates who have already undergone preliminary training. The duration of the short-term internship will be 10 working days.<\/p>\n<p> According to the government, the program will consist of three main stages:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> training and preparation for a new career stage;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> meetings and short interviews with employers;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> internship or employment.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Participants will be offered 3 free training modules:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> &#8220;Career Strategy&#8221;;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> &#8220;Digital Tools and Artificial Intelligence&#8221;;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> &#8220;Interaction in teams of different ages.&#8221;<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> During the training, participants will be taught how to adapt to the modern labor market, work with digital tools, and interact in multi-age teams.<\/p>\n<p> Separately, the program provides for the use of candidate selection systems using artificial intelligence. After submitting an application, the system will generate a list of vacancies or candidates depending on the needs of the employer or participant.<\/p>\n<p> For professionals 50+, the participation algorithm provides for:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> registration and application submission;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> filling in the skills matrix;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> receiving free education;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> automatic selection of vacancies;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> interview;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> internship and possible employment.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Employers will have to register a company, publish internship vacancies, and go through the automatic selection procedure.<\/p>\n<p> The government also published a roadmap for the implementation of the program in 2026:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> May \u2014 application submission and information campaign;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> June-July \u2014 training of candidates;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> July-August \u2014 short interviews;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> July-September \u2014 internship;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> September-October &#8211; employment.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> According to Yulia Svirydenko, the study &#8220;Labor Market After 50&#8221; showed that employers value experienced employees, but some companies point to barriers in the field of digital skills and the influence of age stereotypes during hiring.<\/p>\n<p> Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced the launch of a new state program &#8220;Experience Matters&#8221;, which provides for internships and employment of people aged 50+.
