I don’t believe in the randomness of political timing, when the state simultaneously pushes several topics to society, each of which could cause an explosion on its own.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A massive discussion of migrant workers, a labor shortage, the possible opening of the market to workers from countries with a different cultural background, a new Civil Code with dangerous norms \u2013 and suddenly, at this very moment, Yermak’s suspicions are loud.<\/p>\n

To me, all this looks more like a controlled release of steam than a real cleansing of the state. Not because the investigation materials do not exist – there are enough of them for more than one article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on suspicion of Yermak. The problem is different: the system is not dismantled when one of its symbols is handed a suspicion five months after the searches. The system is dismantled when, simultaneously with the suspicion, assets are seized, channels of influence are blocked, a break with political patrons, new suspicions throughout the vertical and real isolation from witnesses, documents and resources.<\/p>\n

Will there be a real preventive measure, not comfortable collateral cosmetics? Will passports be taken away? Will there be electronic control? Will contacts with witnesses, defendants, political and business intermediaries be prohibited? Will there be a complete seizure of assets? Will the investigation go beyond \u201cDynasty\u201d and UAH 460 million? Will it touch on political cover-up? Will Zelensky show a real break with the Yermakov network? Or, on the contrary, will it all end with a loud headline, several days of media euphoria and further delay?<\/p>\n\t\t
