The Kremlin stated that Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Vladimir Zelensky outside Moscow only on one condition – if such negotiations lead to a final end to the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by Russian media with reference to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, Putin is supposedly ready for negotiations in Moscow at any time.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

However, if we are talking about a meeting in another country, then, according to Peskov, it only makes sense when the parties can fully finalize the process.<\/p>\n

“At any other point, it makes sense to meet only if the process is fully finalized,” Peskov said.<\/p>\n

The Kremlin also noted that serious preparatory work is needed before such a meeting.<\/p>\n

We are talking about a significant amount of preliminary agreements, without which, according to the Russian side, it is impossible to organize negotiations at the highest level.<\/p>\n

Specific dates or locations for the potential meeting in Russia have not yet been announced.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin stated during a press conference on May 9 that the war against Ukraine was supposedly \u201ccoming to an end.\u201d<\/a> At the same time, the Russian authorities continue to demonstrate their readiness for further hostilities and put forward new ultimatums.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukraine announced its readiness to hold a top-level meeting with Russia<\/a> with the participation of international partners the day before. This is a format of negotiations involving the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and, probably, the United States.<\/p>\n
