On the night of Wednesday, May 13, the Krasnodar Territory of Russia came under a massive drone attack. After a series of explosions, a fire broke out in the area of the Taman port.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Russian Telegram channels and OSINT analysts.<\/p>\n

According to local residents, the explosions began at around 2 a.m. Eyewitnesses claim that more than 17 explosions were heard in the Anapa and Temryutsky districts. Some of the drones were allegedly shot down by Russian air defenses.<\/p>\n

Following the attack, a fire broke out in the area of the Taman seaport, which is used for transshipment of oil and petroleum products. Footage of flames and smoke over the port area also appeared online.<\/p>\n

Satellite images confirmed a fire at the oil depot.<\/p>\n

The authorities of the Krasnodar region stated that the cause of the fire was allegedly the \u201cfalling of debris\u201d from drones on the territory of one of the enterprises in the village of Volna. According to official data, one person was injured.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the “interception” of 286 drones over various regions of Russia, as well as over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.<\/p>\n

According to the Russian side, the air defense system operated in several regions at once, including the Belgorod, Kursk, Rostov, Voronezh, and Krasnodar regions.<\/p>\n
