The tragedy occurred on the night of May 12 while on duty.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=1296798339311146&#038;set=a.225483956442595\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Mykolaiv region police.<\/p>\n<p> According to police, a conflict arose between the servicemen while drinking alcohol together. According to the investigation, during the argument, the man grabbed an assault rifle and opened fire on his fellow servicemen, aged 58 and 38.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The victims died on the spot from the gunshot wounds they received,&#8221; law enforcement officials said.<\/p>\n<p> Investigators, detectives, and forensic experts worked at the scene. The police seized an AK-74 assault rifle and spent cartridges, which were sent for examination.<\/p>\n<p> The suspect was detained and taken to the police station. He is currently charged with the intentional murder of two people.
