In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have detained a man who opened fire in the Obolonsky district of the capital. The incident occurred on Obolonsky Avenue after a conflict between two men.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n

As reported by the department, law enforcement officers received a report of shooting, after which a special police operation was introduced in the city and a search for the attacker began.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, during an argument, a 38-year-old Kyiv resident pulled out a revolver and fired about nine shots at a 27-year-old man. <\/p>\n

“The attacker then got into a car and drove away from the scene of the crime,” police said.<\/p>\n

Later, patrol officers stopped the attacker’s car in another district of Kyiv. During the search, law enforcement officers seized a revolver chambered for Flaubert. <\/p>\n

Despite numerous gunshots, the victim did not suffer serious injuries.<\/p>\n

The man has now been detained and charged with hooliganism with the use of a weapon, which carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on Friday, May 1, a shooting occurred in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv<\/a> . Law enforcement officers announced a special police operation to search for the shooter.<\/p>\n
