President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that after waves of massive drone attacks, Russia may resort to missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of state announced<\/a> this on his Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the president, Ukrainian intelligence is recording a high probability of new missile launches after drone attacks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“According to our intelligence, after all the waves of drones, missile launches against Ukraine are also quite possible,” Zelenskyy stressed.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He noted that the Russian army is trying to overload the Ukrainian air defense system and inflict as much pain as possible on the civilian population during these very days.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Russia’s obvious goal is to overload air defenses and cause as much grief and pain as possible,” the president emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy called on international partners not to remain silent and to increase pressure on the Russian aggressor.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President emphasized that Russia’s true intentions must be obvious to world leaders, and terror against Ukraine must receive a tough response.<\/p>\n

He also reported that all services are currently working to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes and urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid signals.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Russian forces launched a massive attack on several regions of Ukraine with drones on May 13. Explosions were heard in Odessa, Lutsk, Kyiv, Kherson, Transcarpathia, and Rivne Oblast<\/a> . There were deaths, injuries, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure. <\/p>\n

As a reminder, “Pryamiy” reported that after the night attack by the Russian Federation,<\/a> the city of Dnipro suffered significant destruction – residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities were damaged, there were victims and injured. The attack occurred on the night of April 25.<\/p>\n
