Russian forces today, May 13, carried out one of the most massive drone attacks on Ukraine, launching 892 strike drones of various types in a day. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed 710 enemy UAVs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the military, from 08:00 to 18:30 the enemy attacked with 753 Shahed attack drones, including jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas UAVs, and Parody simulator drones.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Including the night attack, during which Russia used another 139 drones, the total number of enemy drones per day exceeded 892.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The enemy directed the main direction of the attack towards the western regions of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Air Force noted that a feature of this attack was the repeated use of the territory of Belarus and Moldova for the flight of strike drones towards Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As of 6:30 p.m., 710 enemy UAVs have been confirmed shot down or suppressed in almost all regions of the country.<\/p>\n

27 strikes by strike drones were also recorded, and debris from downed drones fell at 26 locations.<\/p>\n

The Air Force emphasized that the attack is ongoing, and several drones still remain in Ukrainian airspace. <\/p>\n
