Russian propaganda resources are spreading another fake story about alleged “atrocities by the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in Pokrovsk. To do this, the Kremlin media used a video with a local resident without any confirmed facts or evidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The video claims that Ukrainian soldiers were allegedly “hiding in the bushes and shooting at civilians.” The CPD stressed that there is no reliable confirmation of these statements.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

They noted that such informational attacks are part of Russia’s systematic campaign to discredit the Ukrainian Defense Forces and an attempt to justify its own aggression.<\/p>\n

The CPD explained that Russian propaganda deliberately uses emotional stories and manipulative testimonies to form a false impression of the Ukrainian military, sow distrust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and divert attention from the crimes of the Russian army.<\/p>\n

At the same time, it is Russia that daily shelled Ukrainian cities, destroyed civilian infrastructure, and terrorized the population both in frontline regions and in the rear. <\/p>\n
