The priority for the industry remains the balance between protecting consumers and ensuring stable domestic production.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, the executive director of the Association of Gas Producers, Artem Petrenko, shared forecasts for the next heating season. The government has set the base volume of fuel accumulation in storage facilities at 14.6 billion cubic meters.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The basis for filling our storage facilities and using them in the winter will be gas of Ukrainian origin. The main task remains to create a sufficient reserve to get through the cold weather without critical failures.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/skilky-potribno-hroshey-dlia-pidhotovky-enerhosystemy-ukrainy-do-zymy-shmyhal-nazvav-sumu\/\">Ukraine needs at least 5.4 billion euros<\/a> to prepare the power system for winter. At the same time, the system needs an additional 6.5 gigawatts of capacity for stable operation.<\/p>\n<p> We will remind you that during the meeting of the &#8220;Energy Ramstein&#8221;, Ukraine&#8217;s partners announced the allocation of <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/partnery-vydilyly-ukraini-100-mln-ievro-na-pidhotovku-do-zymy-cherez-enerhetychnyy-ramshtayn\/\">100 million euros for winter preparations<\/a> . The funds will be channeled through the Energy Support Fund.<\/p>\n<p> Later, Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/pidhotovka-do-zymy-ukraina-vzhe-vidnovyla-1-hvt-enerhetyky\/\">restoration of 1 GW of energy capacity<\/a> in preparation for the next heating season. According to him, the government has set a strategic goal of restoring 6 GW of capacity by the beginning of the autumn-winter period.
