The art association, which is based in the premises of the Institute of Automation, has been ordered to vacate the building by May 31. It wqs reported that the State Migration Service, which owns the facility, is demanding that the space be vacated to accommodate the units of the State Enterprise “Dokument”. Despite the artists’ willingness to officially register the lease through the State Property Fund, dialogue with the owner is currently blocked.<\/p>\n
“Currently, we are facing the threat of forced eviction: by order of the State Migration Service, which manages the building, we must vacate the premises by May 31,” said a community representative.<\/p>\n
More than 40 creative workshops operate on a commercial basis at the institute. The community, represented by the public organization “Nagorna”, insists on preserving the cultural center. The artists emphasize that the destruction of such platforms during the war harms the future of the state and identity. Currently, the artists are seeking protection and assistance from all structures to resolve the situation and continue their work in the usual format.<\/p>\n
After two flights of enemy drones, the art community, through joint efforts with friends of the community, international partners, volunteers, exhibitions in Berlin and Warsaw, and funds, raised over 800 thousand UAH to restore the windows in the building of the Institute of Automation.<\/p>\n
The community declares that it is ready for a constructive dialogue that will allow the center to be preserved.<\/p>\n
