On Saturday, May 16, in the final match of the tennis tournament in Rome, the first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina (WTA 10) will face the American Coco Goff (WTA 4).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The match is scheduled to start no earlier than 18:00 Kyiv time.<\/p>\n

This is Svitolina’s third final this season. She previously won the title in Auckland and lost in the final in Dubai.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, it was in the semi-finals of the tournament in Dubai that Svitolina met Coco Goff and won in a dramatic match – 6:4, 6:7, 6:4.<\/p>\n

These opponents have already met five times. The score is 3-2 in Svetolina’s favor. Due to her higher ranking, Coco Goff is considered a slight favorite in the final in Rome. However, Elina defeated the world’s second- and third-ranked players, Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek, on her way to this final. Therefore, the rankings of her opponents are of little importance to the Ukrainian tennis player.<\/p>\n
