These include child benefits, housing subsidies, and assistance for parents returning to work after caring for a child.

This is reported by “News.LIVE” .

One of the main programs remains the “800+” payment. It provides a monthly allowance of PLN 800 for each child under 18 years of age.

To participate in the program, Ukrainians must meet several conditions. In particular, they must officially work, engage in entrepreneurial activity or undergo an internship. Also, the child must attend a Polish school or kindergarten, and the applicant must have an active PESEL UKR status and be legally resident in Poland.

The material notes that there is no automatic extension of payments after January 31, 2026, so Ukrainians must submit a new application to participate in the program.

In addition, Ukrainians can apply for a housing subsidy to cover part of the costs of renting a home. The maximum amount of assistance is PLN 400 per month, and the funds are transferred directly to the landlord.

To receive housing benefit, applicants must meet established income criteria. For a single person, the income cannot exceed PLN 3,561.42, and for a family, PLN 2,671.07 per family member. Another prerequisite is the presence of an official housing lease agreement.

You can apply for a subsidy through the housing department of the commune or the social assistance center.

Another support program is “Active at Work.” It is aimed at parents who are planning to return to work after maternity or parental leave.

The program provides a monthly payment of up to PLN 1,500 for nanny services. To receive the benefit, the couple’s combined gross income must be at least PLN 4,806 per month. In addition, the child must be at least 12 months old at the time the payment is made.

We would like to remind you that from May, Ukrainians in Poland who have PESEL UKR status will be able to apply for a new residence permit CUKR . CUKR is a temporary residence permit issued for three years. It allows you to move from temporary protection status to an official residence permit in Poland.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

Ukrainians living in Poland can take advantage of several state financial support programs in 2026.
