President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced large-scale operations by the Defense Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, and reconnaissance teams targeting targets in the Moscow region. According to him, Ukrainian long-range strikes are already overcoming Russia’s saturated air defense system and changing the perception of the war worldwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zelensky said Ukrainian forces had struck targets in the Moscow region at a distance of more than 500 kilometers. He stressed that this area is among the most heavily protected by Russian air defenses.<\/p>\n

“Today, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, our Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence have worked on a very large scale in the Moscow region. A good wave of our deep strikes\u2014we are providing Ukraine with this opportunity,” the president said.<\/p>\n

According to the head of state, Ukrainian forces have also struck targets in temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea. The president said that Russia should focus on protecting its own infrastructure and enterprises.<\/p>\n

“Russians need to think about their refineries, their oil facilities, and their enterprises and not about how to break the lives of other peoples\u2014in Ukraine, or in Moldova, or in any other neighboring country,” Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

He also noted that Ukrainian long-range weapons affect not only the situation on the front but also the international perception of the war.<\/p>\n

“Many partners are now giving signals that they see what is happening and how everything has changed both in the mood towards this war and in the reach of Russian goals on Russian territory,” the president said.<\/p>\n

Separately, Zelenskyy commented on the consequences of strikes on Russian territory and declared that the war had returned to the Russian Federation itself.<\/p>\n

“The war is quite predictably returning to the ‘native harbor,’ and this is a clear signal that it is not worth getting involved with Ukraine and waging an unjust war of aggression against another people,” Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

As is known, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, struck a military-industrial complex enterprise and a number of oil facilities in the Moscow region<\/a>, as well as the Belbek military airfield in Crimea. The RS-1 “Bars,” FP-1 “Firepoint,” BARS-SM \u201cGLADIATOR,\u201d and other developments were used to strike the targets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced strikes on a number of facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region<\/a> , including a refinery, an oil depot, and a microelectronics production facility.<\/p>\n
