Ukraine has developed its first domestically produced guided aerial bomb, which has already passed testing and is ready for combat use, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov<\/span><\/span> said. According to him, the weapon is currently being used as part of an experimental batch and is undergoing combat testing under real battlefield conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The development was created by a member of the Brave1 defense cluster as part of the program to develop Ukrainian high-tech solutions for the front. According to the minister, the development took 17 months and has its own design, created with modern warfare conditions in mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not a copy of Western or Soviet solutions but the own development of Ukrainian engineers,\u201d said Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.<\/p>\n

The warhead of the Ukrainian guided bomb weighs 250 kg<\/strong>. The Ministry of Defense has already purchased the first experimental batch. Currently, Ukrainian pilots are practicing combat scenarios and adapting the use of new weapons in combat conditions.<\/p>\n

The minister noted that Ukraine is moving towards creating its own high-tech weapons, which should strengthen the defense forces.<\/p>\n
