NABU and SAPO reported new suspicions in the corruption case in the Supreme Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, three current Supreme Court judges and one retired judge have been newly suspected of involvement. At the time, they worked in the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court, which hears the most complex cases.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is a case involving 40.19% of shares in Poltava Mining and Processing Complex, which were acquired by the owner of the Finance and Credit group back in 2002.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After the appeals court declared the sale and purchase agreement invalid, the case was referred to the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Investigators believe that the businessman wanted to maintain control over the shares and, through an intermediary, transferred $2.7 million to a lawyer who was supposed to arrange for the money to be transferred to the judges for the desired decision.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

NABU claims that the funds were allocated to the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and other judges. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
