Over the past 24 hours, 250 combat clashes have taken place on the front. Russian occupation forces have massively attacked Ukrainian positions with aircraft, drones, and artillery. The hottest areas remain Pokrovsky and Hulyaypil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 20.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy launched a missile strike using one missile, carried out 100 air strikes, dropped 289 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,168 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,195 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 60 from multiple rocket launchers.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the area of the settlement of Chernatske, Sumy region.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck five control points, three personnel concentration areas, two artillery systems, and three enemy drone control points.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, five clashes took place over the past day, the enemy carried out 86 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Izbitske, Hraniv, Lyman, Radkivka, Vilcha, Vovchanski Khutory, and Starytsia.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack near the settlement of Novoplatonivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Kopanky, Ozerne, and Dibrova.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Kramatorsk direction in the past day.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and Dovha Balka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhne, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Molodetske and in the direction of the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Serhiivka, Gruzke.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrovgrad and Berezove.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 23 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Rivnopillya, Radisne, Rybne, Dobropillya, Olenokostyantynivka, Novye Zaporizhzhia, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Bilogirya.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units stopped two enemy attacks in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilogruy Island.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.<\/p>\n
