The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has received documents indicating that Russia is preparing a large-scale campaign to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and undermine international support for Kyiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to intelligence, the reason for the intensification of the Kremlin’s information campaign was the failure of the Russian army’s spring offensive and the deterioration of the economic situation in the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The SZRU stated that the Russian presidential administration instructed the special services, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian media to maximize information pressure in the Ukrainian and European space.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Among the key areas of the campaign, the Kremlin identified discrediting mobilization in Ukraine and the military leadership responsible for manning the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Russian Federation is also planning information attacks against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, his team, and family members.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Separately, the Kremlin is demanding that the “media scandal surrounding Andriy Yermak and the interview with Yulia Mendel not disappear from the information agenda.” Moscow believes that this topic in Europe has been supplanted by international events, in particular the situation around Iran.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Intelligence reported that the Russian side plans to create fake documents allegedly on behalf of the Ukrainian authorities and distribute them in the media to provoke public outcry.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, the Kremlin has set the task of creating so-called “symbol dolls” for the discrediting campaign and will try to involve former Ukrainian officials, politicians, and experts in information operations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The SZRU stated that they are already recording Russia’s first attempts to implement the new scenario both in Ukraine and abroad.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to intelligence information, Russia plans to use at least 15 proxy media outlets to distribute materials in the Western information space. Among them, the documents mention L’Antidiplomatico, Magyar Nemzet, Prvni Zpravy, and CZ24news.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The SZRU emphasized that Russia plans to increase the scale of the information campaign, expand destructive narratives, and increase the geography of their distribution. <\/p>\n
