Thanks to Zelensky, I learned an incredible amount about the nation I belong to. If Zelensky set out to shatter illusions, he succeeded amazingly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now I know exactly why between the statesman Doroshenko and the adventurer Sirko, Ukrainians chose Sirko. I understand why during the time of the state-builder Mazepa, Ukrainians joyfully ran under the banners of Palii and Petryk. And later – Tsar Peter. I understand why between the reformer Skoropadsky and the populist Petliura, Ukrainians chose Petliura. And there was also the anarchist and Bolshevik ally Makhno.<\/p>\n

I have seen how indomitable free and independent Ukrainian journalists are made obedient and cheap. I have seen how, under good intentions, a monopoly on television is created in Ukraine. How political parties all massively and joyfully obey the command “Get down!”<\/p>\n\t\t
