A 23-year-old Russian citizen will be tried in Kyiv for a fatal road accident in Obolon, which resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The accident occurred in the evening of November 2025. According to the investigation, the driver of the Tesla Model 3 was driving from the side of Bogatyrska Street towards Obolonsky Avenue and did not let pedestrians pass at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A 13-year-old girl was crossing the road with a 15-year-old boy. The girl died on the spot as a result of the collision, but the boy was not injured.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The prosecutor’s office noted that the car was traveling at a speed of almost 150 km\/h.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was also established that on the day of the accident, the driver refused to undergo a sobriety test and a medical examination. However, the next day, tests confirmed the use of amphetamine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The accused is currently being held without bail.<\/p>\n

Juvenile prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office have already sent the indictment to the court.<\/p>\n

A man faces up to 10 years in prison for causing a fatal accident. <\/p>\n
