Over the past 24 hours, 253 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian occupation forces continue to actively press in several directions at once, massively using aviation, kamikaze drones, and artillery. The fiercest fighting continues in the Pokrovsky direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 22.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using one missile and 95 air strikes, dropping 288 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,655 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,285 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 16 from multiple rocket launchers.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck 12 areas of enemy manpower concentration and three UAV control points.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the aggressor carried out three air strikes using seven anti-aircraft missiles, carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using MLRS. Two enemy assault actions were recorded.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 10 times in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Vilcha, Synelnykovo, Vovchanski Khutory and in the direction of Izbitsky.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked six times, towards Kurylivka, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, Novoosynovoye, and Glushkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses seven times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Zarichne, Seredne, and towards Lyman and Shyykivka.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed four times, towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Piskunivka, and in the Riznykivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked in the Minkivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 25 attacks, in the areas of the settlements of Ivano-Frankivsk, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka and towards Kostyantynivka and Zolotye Kolodyaz.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 52 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Zatyshok, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Kamyanka, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Novopidhorodne, Bilytske, Shevchenko and Myrne.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times, in the area of Ternovoye and towards the settlements of Verbove, Dobropillya, and Kalynivske.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 28 attacks in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia, Dobropillya, Rybne, Zlagoda, Zaliznychny, Tsvitkove, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Hulyaipilske, and Charivne.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attempt to advance in the Shcherbaky area.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy carried out three attacks, towards the Antoniv Bridge.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.<\/p>\n
