According to the investigation, the group members tried to sell 500 kg of explosives for $88,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/dbr.gov.ua\/news\/500-kg-vibuhivki-za-88-tis.-dbr-povidomilo-pro-pidozru-shhe-dvom-vijskovim-u-spravi-pro-zbut-plastidu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> the State Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, in November 2025, law enforcement officers detained three servicemen while attempting to sell 500 kg of explosives. Among those detained were a colonel and two of his subordinates.<\/p>\n<p> During the searches, law enforcement officers seized:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> machine gun and submachine gun;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> over 2 thousand rounds of ammunition;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> grenades of various types and shots from a grenade launcher;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> container with a rocket.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Investigators have established that two more servicemen were involved in the scheme. According to the investigation, they, together with other members of the group, purchased and stored 500 kg of explosives in the Kharkiv region, after which they transferred it for transportation to Kyiv for sale.<\/p>\n<p> Also, according to the investigation, the suspects tried to sell more than 11 kg of plastid, grenades, and detonating cord. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cRk3eUkHOPI?si=HJg3ZRmYj0CO7xLt\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> Two servicemen were reported on suspicion of illegal handling of ammunition and explosives by an organized group. In addition, one of the previously detained is charged with unauthorized abandonment of a military unit under martial law.
